Now celebrating its ten-year anniversary on WAVA,"The Don Kroah Show" went on the air on 105.1FM, WAVA in Washington, DC on November 3, 1997. The show airs Monday through Friday, 5 to 7 P.M. (Eastern Time) and is now also simulcast on 780AM, WAVA and streamed live on the Internet at www.wava.com.
In 2006, Don was as selected by Salem Communications as Best Local Talk Show Host of The Yearand given the coveted Andy Anderson Award at the company’s annual Talk Show Conference in Washington, DC.
As host of one of the Greater DC area's most popular call-in talk shows, Don brings some 34 years of experience as a full-time pastor and as a radio broadcaster to the microphone, making him equally comfortable dealing with issues of public policy, culture, and local & national politics, as well questions about the Bible, what it really means to be a follower of Christ, the Christian's relationship to the culture, and other matters of spiritual importance.
He has also become a strong on-air voice for the Persecuted Church, as “The Don Kroah Show” has been instrumental in mobilizing listeners to become directly involved in helping fellow-Christians suffering for their faith in a number of countries around the world.
